Infor Expense Management

Infor XM gives users the opportunity to keep track of their expenses in a speedy and efficient way. Submitting expense reports is easy and removes the need for a web platform. I worked with the product team and leadership on the visual design and brand strategy.

USER INTERFACE

Visual Design Direction

Working in tandem with the product team in two-week sprints, I proposed a visual solution that was both user-friendly, but still pushing boundaries to provide an easy and modern experience.

Exploration and Competitive Audit

We not only looked at our competitors and apps that our clients use on a daily basis, but expanded our research to include cutting edge consumer apps. Expanding beyond our competitors scope we were able to pitch XM as a seamless part of their digital experience.

VISUAL DESIGN EXPLORATIONS

Messaging and Voice

This app is simple and straightforward, reflected in the visual direction, voice, and architecture. Given the simplistic functionality of the app, the on-boarding instructions are easy and to-the-point.

The App Icon

The crossed out "X" represents checking an item of your to-do list giving the user a sense of satisfaction in completing their expense reports.

Usability Testing and Beyond

We started testing with a small beta community at Infor to understand how users interact with the app and whether there is enough onboarding to get them in the mindset of the new app strategy. Overall, the results were very positive and we continue to take these insights into consideration with each new update.
